They are both correct and accurate. I own with reference to 20 items of power equipment from mowers, trimmers, edgers, chain noticeds, and so forth. The Troy Bilt starting system is needlessly overly sophisticated. I discovered the perfect way to begin out it's to put it down on its handle (the engine will be proper side up), tape the throttle control to the handle, high the bulb 10 times in the 'first choke' place, then go right to the 'open choke' environment. The first couple occasions using the 'Troy Bilt' approach, I obtained a sore shoulder and blisters on my hand from arduous starting. Its an good enough machine, I just expected significantly better.
